Adult Workshops

Low Silks are intensely fun and physically demanding. Isometric holds tone muscle, while gravity-defying movements challenge the mind, and the artistry of silks feeds the soul.  Skills are taught from a limited/low height.
  • Entry is for recreational students with no prior knowledge or experience.
  • Experienced are for beginning level students with basic foot lock and climbing skills who are ready to build strength for inversions.  More advanced students benefit from conditioning drills and movement insights.
  • Aerial Strength is designed for aerialists with basic level experience to  gain strength and mobility through aerial drills and groundwork.

Flying Yoga and Aerial Flow are mindful movement classes taught on aerial sling. Each session begins and ends quietly cocooned flow in air over a yoga mat. The mindful sessions have fitness-based goals of mobility, balance and strength suitable for all fitness levels. Most classes include inversions, which may not be suitable to some medical conditions. These are not prenatal classes.

Reserved Training
These practice sessions are for aerialists 18+ who understand our safety culture and have a baseline of experience to work independently.  Aerialists  practice skills they have previously learned and are comfortable executing.

Practice is not a time to self-teach or copy moves seen on social media, "skill share" or teach a peer,  nor to ask the supervising staff for a private lesson. To do so is unfairly put our staff and your community at risk.   Individuals not adhering to these policies will receive a warning and/or will be asked to leave.

Participant Check List:
  • Know and safely execute 2 or more climbs, execute a basic footlock in the air and a hip key from standing.
  • Only practice skills you know well.
  • Only practice on apparatuses that you've trained.
  • Don't ignore possible problems.
  • Have a rescue plan: Take offs are optional, landings are not.
  • Never practice alone.
  • Use proper mats.
  • Be respectful of other's time and space.
  • Know our studio rigging setup and safely set up and put away equipment.

REMEMBER to always remain safe.  Always ensure you check and test rigging and regularly check your equipment before use.
